Markup / measurement / takeoff tools are unresponsive or lagging
Annotation tools stop responding or the whole file becomes sluggish.

Check you haven't switched to 'Read Only' or 'Hand Tool' mode — look at the top toolbar.

Re-verify the drawing scale before continuing — a scale that has reset can throw off an entire takeoff.

Close other heavy applications and unused Chrome tabs — they compete for the same memory.

Save the file, close it, and reopen it.

If the file is very large (50+ MB or 200+ pages), ask your team lead about splitting it into smaller sections for faster handling.
Tip
Use Ctrl + Scroll to zoom inside Bluebeam rather than relying on Windows display scaling — this gives the sharpest result.
