Keyboard typing wrong characters or keys not responding
Keys produce wrong output, are stuck, or don't respond at all.

Restart the laptop — resolves most 'stuck key' software issues.

Check that Sticky Keys or Filter Keys have not been turned on by accident: Settings → Accessibility → Keyboard, and turn both off.

For external keyboards: check the battery, connection, and try a different USB port.

Gently clean around the affected keys — crumbs and dust under keys are a common physical cause.
